หลังจากอัพเกรดเป็น 8.10 interpid ibex แล้วเครื่องผมก็ไม่สามารถใช้ touchpad scrolling ได้ spec เครื่องผมก็เป็นแบบนี้ (ใช้ sudo lshw เช็ค)

คาดว่าอาจจะมีหลายๆรุ่นเจอปัญหาเดียวกัน และ น่าจะใช้วิธีแก้แบบเดียวกันได้

วิธีแก้ ให้ไปเปิดไฟล์ /etc/X11/xorg.conf

โดยที่ไปที่ บรรทัดล่างๆตรงส่วนนี้

Section "ServerLayout"
Identifier "Default Layout"
Screen "Default Screen"
InputDevice "Synaptics Touchpad"
EndSection

แล้วทำการ comment บรรทัด InputDevice "Synaptics Touchpad" โดยใส่ # หน้าบรรทัด ได้แบบนี้

Identifier "Default Layout"
Screen "Default Screen"
#InputDevice "Synaptics Touchpad"
EndSection

เสร็จแล้วทำการเซฟ แล้ว รีสตาร์ท Gnome (กด ctrl+Alt+Backspace)
เท่านี้ก็จะใช้ touchpad scrolling ได้แล้ว
